Learn to sew your very own hat! The perfect Summer accessory.

This kit has everything you need to make one lovely hat. You can choose to make either a bucket hat or a sunhat. The hats fully reversible - you get to select your very own fabric combination and we have lots of great fabrics for you to choose from.

Our sewing kits will make the process of creating your own hat easy and enjoyable. At the end you’ll have something awesome to wear and a great sense of achievement. Sewing is such a fun way to get creative and learn new skills.

These are just the start of your sewing journey! These kits have everything you need to make this project and once you’ve done that you’ll have all the skills and knowledge and patterns to keep making as many more as you like.

The kits will also give you a bunch of key sewing skills to allow you to take on many different sewing projects after this!

You will need to select two fabrics for your hat - these can be different fabrics or the same fabric.

Fabric Options:
Rust Linen
Black linen
White/Cream Linen
Pink Spot Linen
Blue Cotton
Gingham Cotton

You can choose between these sizes:

Medium - 59.5cm
Large - 62cm

These are the approximate measurements of the completed hat, around the part where the brim meets the middle section. To find your size compare our measurements to a hat that you have, or measure these measurements around your head (allow for a little bit of extra room).

We have samples in the studio that can be tried on for size.

These sizes are for adults, the medium size does fit some children. We are working on a slightly smaller size for children - please email us if you would like one of these.

Kit includes:
Fabric, patterns, thread, interfacing.
The instructions will be emailed to you as a PDF.

What you need:
Basic sewing machine skills, Sewing machine, scissors, pins, ruler/measuring tape, chalk.

Kits are prepared to order - to reduce waste.

Please allow 2-3 working days to process your order. We will email you when the kits are ready.

Our fabric supplies are limited, on very rare occasions we may not have the fabric you are after. If this happens we will email you right away to arrange a swap or a refund.

To purchase:
-Select Fabric #1, Fabric #2 , Size option then add to cart.
-Once you have added all your items, click on the cart.
-On computers the cart is located at the centre top of the page.
-On mobile devices the cart is located in the side bar - click the three lines in the top right hand corner to bring this up.
-Click on the cart. Then you can continue through to checkout to complete payment and order. You will receive email confirmation once order has been made.
